Application Tips:

When applying any of the All Mineral SPF moisturizers, full coverage is important, and an pea-sized amount of product can go a long way.

For the best application experience, treat and hydrate the skin first using an oil, serum or concentrate. We love layering them over the Facial Recovery Oil, Camellia Glow Solid Face Oil, Mangosteen Daily Resurfacing Concentrate or Bamboo Firming Fluid for the great results and the delicious scent combinations! Ensure that when layering, the first layer of product is fully absorbed first before applying the SPF moisturizer.

For adequate coverage, we recommend starting with a pea-sized amount of product, warming it up in the palm of your hands and applying it on high points of your face first – nose, cheeks, forehead – before carefully working product to the rest of your face. Patting and pressing the SPF moisturizer onto the skin with also avoid overworking the product, allowing it to settle.

Eminence Organics Red Currant Protective Moisturizer SPF 40 is a silicone free and non-nano Zinc Oxide SPF 40 moisturizer for normal and combination skin types. Helps to balance sebum production, improve skin elasticity and provide a matte finish so not to clog pores. Skin is left feeling clear and calm throughout the day and is suitable for all ages.

Key Ingredients:

Zinc Oxide: natural mineral that blocks UV rays to protect skin from sun damage and reduce inflammation.
Youth Shield Antioxidant Complex (Red Currant, Elderflower, Magnolia Bark): protective complex high in antioxidants; prevents damage from free radicals, reduces and prevents the signs of aging.
- Red Currant: astringent; good source of Vitamin C, antioxidant with additional bioflavonoids;prevents the cellular damage caused by free radicals and reduces inflammation while promoting collagen production.
- Elderflower: astringent; high polyphenol content (powerful antioxidant agents); scavenges free radicals and stops them from regenerating; reduces inflammation to protect the skin from the signs of aging.
- Magnolia Bark: contains two anti-inflammatory lignans – magnolol and honokiol (estrogen-like chemicals that also act as antioxidants), which together prevent inflammation to help slow down the aging process of the skin

Apply liberally and evenly on cleansed skin, 15 minutes before sun exposure. I have been using Eminence Organics Red Currant Protective Moisturizer SPF 40 for years. I have sensitive skin and it works great - no break outs no sunburns on my face. Unfortunately I received a message last week they are discontinuing the product. Very disappointed.

I don’t prefer so much zinc that I have difficulty gliding the product across my skin. Adding the oil helps but again, zinc is not my favorite additive.

Paste-like but pleasant smell

I wanted to like it as it has delicate (not overpowering or artificial) fruit scent and has great SPF factor, but in the end it does not blend well and sits on top of face with white streaks. I used some water based facial spray to try to blend but it was uneven & I am not sure if I decreased the SPF by doing so.

I've tried the sample size for a few days now and WOW, I love it! Aside from the excellent sun protection, can we talk about the amazing gentle cooling effect experienced after you apply to your face? That's one of my favorite parts of this sunscreen!! This items provides excellent moisture and blends in easily after using an eminence mist or toner. Remember a little goes a long way!

SPF Baby!!

I've tried out a couple of there different spf products but let me tell you this one is my favorite! I'm very particular about what type of ingredients are in my spf zinc is a must! It doesn't leave your face chalky or with white lines, blends in nicely and smells amazing. And truly works, there's been days that my body gets a little red bc of some unexpected sun and my face doesn't get red from the sun at all.
